Made during an Artist in Residence at Alchemy Art Center on San Juan Island, continuing the Rocks and Pots series. Carved lines run beneath layered blue glazes on the round base, and a stack of flattened stone forms rises above it. The glaze pools and streaks over the carving in a way that suggested kelp and current, which is where the name came from.
