Black, Red, and Pearlescent Asymmetric Necklace

The necklace laid flat, its ten strands overlapping in pale opalescent glass, red beads and silver barrels.

The necklace worn against black, the strands falling at different depths across the chest.

Ten strands, built from opalescent glass beads bought in China, silver pieces taken from old necklaces, and beads bought in India. Those are set among an assortment of black and silver beads, and the strands are cut to different lengths so the weight sits off-center. It is one of my favorites.
