Jasper Turtle Necklace

The necklace laid flat in an oval, the pale turtle pendant resting off-center against the strands of orange and cream chips. The necklace worn, the two strands of jasper and shell chips falling below the turtle pendant.

Two strands of red jasper and white shell pieces, with brass accents worked through them. A Ghanaian turtle pendant sits off to one side rather than at the center, which stops the composition settling into symmetry and gives the eye somewhere particular to land. The two strands are cut to slightly different lengths so they separate instead of tracking each other.
