Red, White, and Brass Bracelet

The bracelet laid flat, three round brass wheels spaced between dotted white barrels along two strands. The bracelet worn, the openwork spokes of the brass wheels showing clearly against the wrist.

Large African brass filigree wheels contrast with dotted white African ceramic beads across two strands. The wheels are openwork, so skin shows through the spokes and they read lighter than their size suggests. Between them, the dotted barrels and small dark red beads keep the scale from dropping straight from large to nothing.
