A water-chestnut seed pod hangs at the bottom of a cascade of silver circles. The pods, shown from two perspectives, are horned and vaguely reminiscent of a bird or a bull’s head; this intriguingly ambiguous shape is exactly why they earn the plainest possible setting above them. The circles are left unadorned so nothing competes with the pod.
