Emerald Basin Cairn Lamp

This lamp and its companion, Emerald Lake, were commissioned together as a pair of bedside lamps, and they began my cairn series. The base stacks eight individually glazed spheres in jewel tones that shift from deep blue at the bottom up through green and violet. Trail cairns were the starting point: the way a stack of stones, like a light left on, tells you which way to go.
