Emerald Lake Cairn Lamp

The stacked spheres graded from a near-black base through cobalt and green up to turquoise. A second view of the lamp, the glazes catching the light differently across the stack. The lamp from a third angle, showing the join between each sphere.

The companion to Emerald Basin, commissioned with it as a pair of bedside lamps at the start of my cairn series. Seven individually glazed spheres stack from a near-black base up through cobalt and green to a turquoise cap. Like the cairns on a mountain trail, the stack is meant to mark a direction as much as to light a room.
