The decoration here is the making. Throwing rings are left standing on the shoulder and neck, the belly is cut into broad facets, and a shino glaze breaks warm orange across both, thin and pale on the ridges and deeper in the cuts. Nothing has been added to the surface that was not already part of forming it.
